Common Questions

What consoles does this work with?

This template works with all Behringer X32 and Midas M32 models, including the X32, X32 Compact, X32 Rack, X32 Producer, M32, M32R, and M32C. It is built for X32/M32 firmware 4.13 or newer.

What is included?

You get the Markex X32/M32 scene file, channel presets, FX presets, routing presets, setup documentation, and a walkthrough video showing you how to load and start using the template.

How do I load the template?

Copy the .scn file to a USB drive, plug it into your console, and load it from the Scenes section. You can also load it through X32-Edit or M32-Edit. The walkthrough video shows the exact steps.

Will this overwrite my current scene?

It can if you do not save first. Its best to save a back up before you load. Save or export your current scene to a USB drive first or save it on your console, then load this one. Once your setup is safely saved, you can switch between your own scene and this template anytime.

Does this work if I use an S16, S32, DL32, or local inputs?

Yes. The template includes optional routing presets for common setups, including S32/DL32, two chained S16/SD16 units, local inputs, and compact/rack-style output setups.

Do I need to use the routing presets?

No. The routing presets are optional. You can use them for a faster setup, or you can manually route the console yourself if you prefer.

Is this beginner friendly?

Yes. The template is designed for churches, volunteers, and engineers who want a clean starting point without building everything from scratch.

Can I customize it after loading it?

Yes. You can rename channels, change routing, adjust EQ, change bus sends, and save your own version for your room.

Are the presets required?

No. The main scene is ready to use by itself. The presets are included so you can quickly swap in other channels, tones, FX, or routing options when needed.
